Walk us through what you’ve got in your gear bag.

My Patagonia Black Hole Duffel is my favorite thing I asked for for Christmas last year (although mine is purple and teal — the colors are really fun!). It’s the perfect size and comes with backpack straps that make it really easy to carry around. It’s waterproof which is great because in the Pacific Northwest, you can get pretty crazy weather at tournaments.

My second most favorite piece of gear would be my cleats. I absolutely love my Nike Women’s Mercurial cleats. They’re really durable — I’ve had mine for 2.5 years. I play ultimate year round and the fact that they’ve held up this long is crazy. They’re really light weight and do well in wet conditions. The cleats also have a narrow fit, which is really nice; I‘ve had a lot of trouble with my heels slipping out of cleats before. They’re just now starting to break down and I’m finally having to get a new pair for Worlds.

What’s your favorite piece of National Team Kit?

The Five Ultimate National Team Duality Jackets are awesome. They’re the perfect layering piece. I also love the design of our white team jerseys. They have a clean professional look, but the stars on the shoulders add a fun touch.
